Musk serious?

About anything?

This is a guy who in the last year has been exposed as having an online double he pays to pretend he is a good father. Investigators also revealed that Elon paid someone to falsify his video-game skills and character development. Though that act has been branded as just pathetic (it is) the real reason I believe is to endear himself to young men to buy his stock. All of those things aside, Elon Musk has done a lot in the last year to discredit himself. He has done a lot of things that make him look very unserious.

Nothing made him look less serious than this recent Twitter/Truth Social beef with Donald Trump.

What The Hell Happened? Maybe Nobody Really Knows…

In an unprecedented and unexplained turn of events, Elon Musk and Donald Trump have had a massive and very public, very messy falling out. A common practice for Elon Musk on his platform Twitter, is to retweet others and apply 1-word responses to them. Sadly, this garners a lot of press attention. Yesterday, Elon Musk retweeted a shady “journalist” who goes by the name Ian Miles Cheong, when he said:

Before the House of Representatives ratified the 2024 election results, 1 citizen sent dozens of members of Congress (and state legislators) a proposal that would have made Kamala Harris President with JD Vance as Vice President. This would not be a result that would have been great for the country, but it is one that would arguably be better than what we have now.

It was not a partisan proposal, either.

The press at multiple mainstream outlets were well aware of this.

But they covered it up, censored it, and ignored it. Imagine what could have been if this 1 citizen was heard.

What Trump, Elon, and the Press Have Been Covering

About a week after Trump handed Elon a literal key to the White House, television hosts asked him how he felt about the Trump bill that Congress had just sent to the Senate. He was notably uncomfortable, and barely uttered that he is afraid of criticizing the administration but also does not want to be held responsible for everything it does. That insight captured the heart of this feud and might be the truest statement anyone has made. Trump claims Elon lost his mind when he realized they wouldn’t extend the EV credit. Yet, few commentators believed that.

Reporters on both mainstream broadcast news and the least-watched political podcasts agree on two points: many people claim they predicted this fallout, yet almost nobody expected it to play out this way. I doubt anyone who publicly timestamped their forecast of a Trump–Musk split imagined it would end with Musk accusing the President of appearing in the Epstein Files. Meanwhile, everyone already knows about the photograph of Elon Musk with Ghislaine Maxwell.

A Word About These Attacks Being Self Owns

Political cartoon of Elon Musk and Donald Trump boxing themselves in a ring together.

Even if someone fed him those lines or wrote them for him, Musk’s decision to publish a liberal-media accusation that Trump is essentially a pedophile fails to deliver the impact he likely expected. Why does it fall flat? Because Elon entrusted his own child to spend time with Trump. He donated hundreds of millions of dollars to Trump’s campaign and even proclaimed he loved Trump as much as a straight man can love another man. Is that how you talk about someone you believe engaged in child trafficking?

During the spat between these two men (so far) we saw Trump claim that the federal government should cut subsidy to Elon’s companies, because they are wasteful. Well, if that’s true, why was he trotting Elon Musk around as a genius? Obviously for the money. However, even their critics believed they thought they were serious about working together in this capacity.

So, while both men may have convinced themselves they won this little digital battle, they both lost.

Thankfully.

Is Musk Serious Or Not? Probably Not.

There was a citizen-led effort to impeach Donald John Trump for his financial conflicts of interest that injure all Americans, among other things. House Rep. Shri Thanedar plagiarized those articles, while being discredited in the process. Then House Rep. Al Green finally released his wimpy article (singular) related to some offense that can barely be defined. That had almost destroyed the already weakened tool of impeachment completely.

As much as it pains me to admit, even if accidentally, Elon Musk revived hope that this mechanism could work.

His poll about starting a new/3rd political party aside, Democrats cannot be trusted with impeachment anymore. They already ruined 2 attempts to use it against Trump, probably sabotaging it on purpose like they have with these recent new attempts.

We The People Must Remove Musk From This Equation

Elon Musk has supported Democrats, and of course Republicans, in their electoral conquests. He has actually done poorly, though. Despite the narrative that Elon is also trying to spin of his contributions being integral to Donald Trump winning in 2024, that’s not quite true. Trump won just fine without Elon Musk in 2016, and the margins of his 2024 victory were not all that decisive.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk bought Twitter fully aware of how much child pornography it hosted.

He knowingly (according to his own statements) allowed his vulnerable child to spend time in the presence of a known (to him, according to his own statements) sex offender or sex offender’s friend.

He literally did a Nazi salute as a troll in this calendar year.

Sure, he has a lot of money. Take it from him if you can.

But under no circumstances should anybody take his money to do his bidding.

Elon has to pay penance, not invest in a new venture.

Who Would Become Vice President?

In the Presidential succession, after the VP, you have the Speaker of the House – Mike Johnson.

So, would you want a Vance/Johnson administration? It would be bad, sure. However, would it be as bad as a Trump/Vance White House? Hard to say, especially with all the clout and credibility Trump would lose by being actually forced out of the administration.

Presidential succession is taken into effect in a variety of cases, under circumstances where the President:

Meaning, if Johnson for example, were to resign or be unable to hold office by the nature of his lacking of qualifications – the line would continue.

The Senate would probably have to confirm these kinds of decisions, which would of course throw things into quite a chaotic state of affairs.

Difficult as it may be, this is possibly where we are headed – with or without Elon Musk involved – which means we must proceed without Elon Musk involved.

Maybe Trump will look into all those cases that were stacking up in the federal government against Elon. Sure a lot of people will hate it, including their opponents, due to the precedent it sets. But, it isn’t just any two “political opponents” going at it. These are two extremely wealthy, corrupt, and impactful men who deserve what they are getting from one another. More than that, the country deserves these two to weaken each other and expose each others’ real vulnerabilities to the world. A world that is waiting to replace them both with something better.

The Future Is Uncertain

Don’t take Musk serious. Treat Musk serious from the perspective of a threat to our democratic process because he drowns out the voices of the poor. He was used as a liability shield for Donald Trump as he slashed USAID. Whether or not that was always part of their plan, Elon went along and played his part. He is not to be trusted in politics anymore. At least not in America. Let him go fund a right-wing party in Germany if he wants.

America is at an unprecedented moment. In fact, it is so out of the norm that even Trump does not know what will happen next. He has been in control of the public narrative on an international level, for so many years. The thing that nobody publicly has really expressed yet or considered, is that these men have a common foe. They clearly seem to be fighting one another. But perhaps there is one who has been venturing to break them up for months. Somebody who started by getting Vivek out of DOGE. A foe who has fought both of them individually from the shadows, who now is emerging and battling them both at once.

Trump vs. Musk Is Historic, Regardless

Some Democrats are courting Musk for fundraising. Like Ro Khanna.

The Republican party is showing splits between people who side with Trump compared to those who side with Musk. JD Vance was caught off guard (which seemed legitimate) while filming an episode of the Theo Von podcast by learning about the Epstein accusation from Musk about Trump. JD Vance made it clear where his loyalties are – with Donald Trump. This political coalition of Donald Trump’s 2025 administration has been very unique. They were held together by a few catchphrases like “MAGA” or “DOGE.”

But that is coming apart.

It is not just coming apart for these guys, it has been coming apart since December when Elon and Vivek were exposed as having loyalties beyond their “America First” professed agenda. That was the beginning.

Therefore, this moment with Trump & Musk is not the end.

There Are Many More Than Just 2 Sides Here

The American dream and our future relies on breaking through the noise of this moment.

That means eventually pushing these two tired old men to the side. They do not have our country’s best interest at heart. They do not even have other countries’ interest at heart. These guys are purely and unequivocally in it for themselves.

Self-centered greedy oligarchs arguing over something the rest of us are unaware of.

It’s actually possible that they are both reacting in ways they are unaware of.

That means nobody knows what will happen next, as an observer.

Only those aiming to steer the conversation may know what will come next.

But even the most powerful are up in the air. Doesn’t that scare you more?
